It’s been a while since we’ve had a Peruvian coffee on our lineup, but we’re excited to bring it back! Northern Peruvian farmers have been working hard to improve quality through better processing, agronomy support, and real-time feedback loops. The result: some very tasty coffees! From super clean washed lots to wild, fruity naturals. The coffee origin Peru is proving itself as a rising star in specialty coffee, and we’re so happy to be roasting it again!
The exporter Falcon Coffee Peru SARL, established in 2018, operates a warehouse and quality control lab in Jaen, Cajamarca, where farmers bring their coffee for analysis and pricing. By 2023, the company has grown to work with 275 farmers across 15 districts, three producer associations, and a team of 10, including an in-house agronomist, with an export office in Lima.
San Pablo is a small coffee-producing community in Cajamarca, Northern Peru, known for its high-altitude farms and dedication to quality. The farmers here focus on traditional washed processing, carefully fermenting and drying their coffee to highlight its clarity and sweetness.
In the cups we discover subtle acidic notes of pear and red apple, a silky smooth milk chocolate body, with a nectarine aftertaste.
