Transparency Report 2020
Introduction

We’re excited to publish our first transparency report, listing all the coffees we have purchased between December 2019 and October 2020. We reached out to our importing partners to get this information and we were impressed by their willingness to just to share what we were asking for, but to dig-deep and talk to their partners to bring us as much information about the coffee value chain as possible.
Even as we share these numbers, we acknowledge that their meaning is hard to decipher for consumers and even for people working within the coffee industry itself. No metric is good enough to give us a holistic understanding of the coffee value chain, especially not in isolation. For this reason, we’ve provided as much context we can about the figures we’ve listed and we’ve written a small glossary to explain some of the key terms.
